Kristan Silvestri
Coach Kris Has coached gymnastics for more than 20 years. Following three years as a JO level 10 she moved on to compete at the collegiate level with SCSU. She was a four-time USAG Collegiate Nationals qualifier and All American All Around runner up in 2004. She was selected as the 2004 ECAC Gymnast of the Year after capturing the ECAC All-Around and floor exercise titles.
She holds was a two-time USAG Collegiate Scholar-Athlete and a 2004 ECAC Female Athlete of the Year nominee and earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Performance from Southern Connecticut State University and master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Clinical Exercise Physiology.

Fun Facts:
- Played professional women’s tackle football for 8 years as a middle linebacker and was a member of the IWFL 2013 Championship team, Carolina Phoenix.
- She is a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
- She has 1 niece and 7 nephews
- She has been married for almost 5 years, and her and her partner (who is a K9 handler for the Fayetteville Police Department) have 5 dogs together, JAX, Jaycee, K9-Kyra (Retired) K9-Lyka (Retired), and K9-Kobe (In Service)
