In regards to: Team Tryouts
Dear Gymnasts and Parents,
It’s finally starting to feel like spring! Great weather, trips to the beach, and don’t forget GYMNASTICS! I just wanted to send out to everyone a friendly reminder of our upcoming Team Tryouts. Everyone who is interested in being on one of our All-Star or Competitive Teams for the upcoming season should sign-up at the front desk in our lobby as soon as possible. Deadline to sign-up is Thursday May 7th, 2009. Tryouts will be held on Saturday May 16th from 8am-10am & 10am-12pm (Times/Session will be announced closer to date). Parents must drop off their gymnast 15 minutes prior to the start of the tryouts and may pick their gymnast up at the end of their scheduled time. Parents will not be permitted in the facility during tryouts due to the possibility of distracting the gymnasts. Anyone who tries out will be considered for either an All-Star Team or a Competitive Team depending on the gymnast’s abilities. Gymnasts will be evaluated on all four apparatus’ as well as Tumble Track, Conditioning, and Flexibility. If your child is already on an All-Star Team or Pre-Team, they must resign-up if they would like to be placed on a team for the upcoming season. All-Star Team names will change as well as leotards, and class times. Invitations for the teams will be sent out in the weeks following the try-outs through mail/e-mail.
